Product of the Day: Estée Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer

I’ve had this product for many years now. When I want a natural glow I always turn to this primer. I find that highlighters can sometimes look too shimmery/sparkly and honestly, in this heat its best to go for something that perks up your skin subtly. And in that sense, the Illuminating Perfecting Primer really does live up to its name. Its a light, pearlescent cream that’s completely fragrance free, so it is better for sensitive skin. Bear in mind that a little goes a long way, so just take a tiny, pea-sized drop and spread it especially on the spots where you want to glow. These spots would be the sides and tops of your cheekbones, bridge of the nose, all around the top of your forehead and temples, and a dab on the chin. If you have dull, pore-less skin then you can apply a super thin layer all over your face. But if you have large, open pores don’t apply it on those areas because you don’t want the illumination to make your pores stand out. Wait for a minute or so after applying this primer before you wear makeup. You can apply CC cream, foundation and even face powder over this primer, and still your glow will shine through. Although in the evenings I like to keep powder to a minimum. But that’s just my personal choice. The Estée Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer makes your makeup last long and gives you natural looking radiance - what more can a girl ask for?
